Department of Children and Families (DCF)

Have you received a telephone call or correspondence from the Department of Children and Families? Have you been wrongfully accused of abuse and/or neglect? If so, it may be best for you to immediately consult with counsel in order to protect your rights, and the best interests of your family. Grimaldi & Pesiridis, LLC has frequently represented families throughout the process of DCF investigations, including successfully overturning findings of abuse and/or neglect at FAIR Hearings. By getting involved early in the process, our skilled attorneys can help mitigate the damage and potentially avoid some of the consequences that can accompany DCF’s continued involvement with your family.

If you are a grandparent or other concerned family member or friend of a child about whom you have safety concerns, we would be happy to discuss legal options for assuring that your beloved child’s best interests are preserved and protected.

Mediation/Conciliation/Collaborative Law

Attorney Marc A. Grimaldi is a certified mediator. Moreover, Attorney Grimaldi volunteers as a Court Conciliator for cases pending in the Middlesex Probate & Family Court through the Middlesex County Bar Association. Should you wish to attempt a successful resolution of your domestic relations matter without commencing litigation and/or attempt to end acrimonious litigation, Attorney Grimaldi provides a free initial consultation to determine whether Mediation and/or Conciliation may be right for you!

Pre-Nuptial Agreements

Both Attorneys Grimaldi and Pesiridis have experience negotiating and crafting Pre-Nuptial Agreements. It is more difficult that it may seem to draft an enforceable Pre-Nuptial Agreement in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We as experienced domestic relations litigators have observed several cases when Pre-Nuptial Agreements are not enforced by a Probate & Family Court Judge due to its failure to meet the appropriate legal standards. This is because there are many complex intricacies and legal safeguards that must be achieved in order to arrive upon a potentially enforceable Pre-Nuptial Agreement. You should only trust an experienced domestic relations practitioner to draft your Pre-Nuptial Agreement
